This album is a self-portrait of the singer from La Mancha. She has decided to baptize this new project as Fly with me, which is nothing more than an invitation to whoever listens to it to accompany her on her own life journey, through confessions that she has probably never put into words but which are recited here in sonorous verses.

This is not a chronological journey, but it does cover the different stages of her existence from childhood to maturity. With works by such charismatic composers as Juan Erena, Marco Smaili, Eduardo Martín, Clarice Assad, Dale Kavanach or Simone Iannarelli.

The works included in this CD have been composed expressly to be included in the recording. It is an express desire to be present, to promote and participate in this unique occasion, to create a voice of her own. Because the guitar is a ductile instrument, which accompanies folklore and avant-garde classical music with astonishing ease. Laura’s intention is for this voice to continue, grow, and convince, pleasing a demanding public.

Society is constantly changing and change does not always mean evolution. This uncertainty is what is raised in this work, entitled “The world we build.” The fascinating thing about this work is not in its melody, its harmonies or its strength, but in the fact that each person who listens to it finds their own response to what they build in this world and how it returns to them. It is a work not only to feel, but to think about. Think about us, think about others, but above all about what we want to do in the world we live in.
